June 2025 – Court of Honour

Written by Amith Patavardhan (Second Class Scout; Scribe)

On June 13, 2025, we had a really special Court of Honour at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, who is our Chartered Organization.

It was an important night because these three scouts: Sebastien Burgess, Natalie Labrique, and Torsten Eriksson Walz were officially recognized for earning the rank of Eagle Scout, which is the highest and most respected rank in Scouting. Our scoutmasters explained the different stages of advancement, starting from Scout and moving up through the ladder: Tenderfoot Scout, Second Class Scout, First Class Scout, Star Scout, Life Scout, and finally Eagle Scout, showing the journey these scouts have gone through. There was then a special Eagle Ceremony, with the parents of the Eagles presenting them with their medals, and veteran Eagles guiding them into the Eagle’s Nest. The Ceremony concluded with a speech from each new Eagle Scout, recognising their journey in Scouting.

The ceremony also celebrated the achievements of other scouts, since almost every single one earned a new rank and many merit badges, ranging from Architecture to Citizenship in the World.

We (Scouts) would like to congratulate everyone who has earned a new merit badge or achieved a new rank, and we would like to thank everybody who made this wonderful event possible.
