FAQ – Tent-building
Marmot 3P
Building the tent:
Open tent bag and unroll fly, tent and ground sheet. Build poles. Slide polls into sleeves of inner tent. Attach ground sheet, then attach fly. Peg.
Putting the tent away:
Remove tent pegs. Take fly off tent and lay out to dry. Detach Ground sheet.
Take poles out of tent and collapse to place in pole bag. Lay inner tent to dry.
When dry, fold ground sheet in three, and fold inner tent in three:
Then fold fly in three, then in half, then place on top of folded tent:
Then place ground sheet, pole & peg bag(s) on top. Then roll and stuff:
If you cannot wait until the tent dries, take the tent out of the bag immediately when you get home to let dry. Once dry, pack the tent and return to Quartermasters.

Building the tent:
Open tent bag and take out ground sheet bag. Take out materials and unroll fly, tent and bags.
Build poles. Slide the two long polls into sleeves of inner tent ensuring to cross them appropriately. Add third short pole over the top. Attach ground sheet, then attach fly. Peg.

When dry, fold fly in half, in half again.
Then fold in half the other way until you have a small rectangle:
Then fold the inner tent in half, then again in half.
Place the fly on the tent, the pole bag, the peg bag, roll and stuff.
Fold the ground sheet and stuff into ground sheet bag, add to the top of the bag:
